Ktima Vasiligianni

Vasiligianni was the name of my grandfather, who was a stonemason and built this house. Out of passion and pride, I have restored this wonderful gem in the heart of Epirus and offer it to you for a perfect stay. Enjoy the fresh air and excursions to the surrounding sights, as well as those you already know.

A place where you can enjoy a wonderful night's sleep and explore the nearby areas with beautiful hikes. The area is beautiful, offering authentic routes, while nearby you will find Agios Nikolaos and the Peristeri Cave. The house has all the amenities you need to truly enjoy your stay for as long as you wish.

The nearest supermarket is about a 10-minute drive away, and at a similar distance you will find nice taverns and restaurants for dining and gas stations.

Our accommodation in the heart of nature can comfortably sleep up to six people. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed next to it. The living room and kitchen are an open-plan space with a sofa bed and a traditional bass sofa where two more people can sleep, and there is a separate bathroom. We have all the electrical appliances you will need—from a dishwasher and microwave to a dryer and washing machine. In short, it is a place that can comfortably accommodate a family for many days.

Surounding area

The house is surrounded by an area of approximately 800 square meters, to which guests have full access. The area features an outdoor barbecue, trees, and beautiful spots for relaxation. Of course, guests also have access to all areas of the house inside.

grandfather

The man in this photograph is my grandfather, Vasiligiannis.
He was the one who built this house with his own hands — a stone mason full of passion, honesty, and pride in his craft. Here, he raised his family, and from him our guesthouse took its name: “Ktima Vasiligiannis.”

“Vasiligiannis” was a nickname of that time — Vasilis, son of Giannis, as the locals used to call him. A simple name, deeply connected to the people and the place.

After the loss of my father, who also tried to keep this house alive, I took over. At one point, the house was close to collapse. Day by day, stone by stone, I restored it and brought it back to life, with respect for its past and its meaning.

Today, my wish is to share this authenticity with the world — to reveal the beauty of our village, a place that has nothing to envy from any other destination.

In this way, the story of Vasiligiannis lives on through this guesthouse:
a home built with passion, reborn with respect, and now welcoming those who wish to experience the true beauty of our land.
