My grandfather’s name was Vasiligiannis; he was a stonemason and built this house. Driven by passion and pride, I have restored this magnificent gem in the heart of Epirus and am offering it to you for a perfect stay. Enjoy the fresh air and excursions to the surrounding sights, as well as the places you already know.
The house is surrounded by grounds of approximately 800 square metres, to which guests have full access. The grounds feature an outdoor barbecue, trees and lovely spots to relax. Naturally, guests also have access to all the rooms inside the house.
The house is situated approximately 40 km from both Ioannina and Arta, whilst Preveza and the coast are just 50 minutes away. It is an ideal base for your excursions around Epirus.
Nearby you’ll find Lake Ziros, Lake Viros, Kokkinopylos and the Roman aqueduct at Agios Georgios, amongst other attractions.
Welcome to our stone-built retreat in Kouklesi, Ioannina! Our accommodation is situated in an idyllic mountainous setting, between Ioannina, Arta and Preveza, offering easy access and the chance to enjoy the fresh air and unspoilt nature.
Here you’ll have the chance to wander along unexplored paths, enjoy magnificent views and experience a restful night’s sleep that can truly rejuvenate you. Ioannina and Arta are about a 40-minute drive away, whilst Preveza is about an hour’s drive away. Furthermore, Kouklési boasts over 30 kilometres of roads, as well as waterfalls, springs and other natural attractions just waiting to be discovered.
